voice calls are now possible with the new firmware. but we also have to update ofono, because the new firmware doesn't accept QMI over the 2nd cdc-wdm interface. fixed in lynxis/master.
I've updated the two sierra modems in the RnD setup.

The mc7304 now supports voice calls. Even usb audio works.
