Description

  • See #1563 for the OsmoBTS part
  • See #22 for the DTXu part in OpenBSC
In order to support DTXu in OsmoBSC/OsmoNITB, we need to
  • have a VTY config option (at the bts node) for enabling/disabling it, independent of DTXd
  • encode the RSL/OML messages related to DTX reflecting the vty configuration
  • ensure that we only use the RXlev/RXqual SUB measurements from the MS if DTXd is active (for handover decision, ...)
  • ensure that we are forwarding RTP streams properly with SID frames in our internal RTP proxy
