holidays
We do have a limited number of [wiki:BS11 BS-11] [wiki:BTS] in stock and they're up for sale.
Please note: This is just a [wiki:BTS]. You will have to have [wiki:BSC], [wiki:MSC] and other parts of the GSM network to make use
of the [wiki:BTS]. Even with the [wiki:OpenBSC] software, you still have to fulfill the following requirements:
'''NOTE: From March 3rd through March 25th Harald is on holidays and cannot ship any BS-11 during that timeframe'''
RequirementsDon't buy a BS-11, unless you are prepared to: * buy a [wiki:mISDN]-supported [wiki:E1] card (about 300 / 350 EUR) * solder some cables by yourself (plugs are included) * put together the power cord (plug included) * compile a patched Linux kernel * compile the [wiki:OpenBSC] software * manually set parameters in hlr.sqlite3 using hand-crafted SQL statements * expect things to be unreliable * be happy to get only community-based support on the mailing list * contribute to GSM layer2/3 protocol development in [wiki:OpenBSC]
SpecificationThe BS-11 we sell are * single-[wiki:TRX] (i.e. max. 7 concurrent full-rate voice calls) * dual-[wiki:TRX] can be enabled but depends on environment conditions (cooling) * GSM900 frequency band * AC Power Supply, 100-230V AC
WarrantyThe BS-11 are originally packaged and to the best of our knowledge unused. However, sold as second-hand equipment with no warranty except a DoA guarantee. Be aware that they were built more than 10 years ago and are long end-of-life, so no spare parts, no manufacturer
support, no repairs.
We sell BS-11 for EUR 300 (including VAT, excluding shipping)
ShippingThe shipping will likely be expensive, given the high weight and large dimensions of the unit.
Any BS-11 is packaged in two boxes, which are of the following dimensions: * Box 1: 74x58x35cm, 10kg * Box 2: 74x58x35cm, 36kg
If you want to inquire for shipping rates, they will ship from Berlin, Germany (postal code 13509)
ExportWe do ship internationally, however we ship DDU, i.e. '''it is your task to take care of properly taking care of the import procedures of your country, such as inport taxes, customs tarrifs'''. Furthermore, '''import and posession of GSM BTS equipment might require a special license in your country''', please check with local autohrities.
