| 5 | Historically, Osmocom offered the [[OsmoNITB:]] "Network-In-The-Box" as a single program. It was a useful simplification at the time, but since 2017, it is recommended to use the separate [[OsmoHLR:]], [[OsmoMSC:]], [[OsmoSTP:]], [[OsmoBSC:]] and [[OsmoMGW:]] programs.
