Description

14:02 < tnt> right ... osmo-trx doesn't support running two completely independent C0 over a single SDR.
14:02 < osmith> fixeria: nice!
14:03 <@LaF0rge> tnt: in theory it should be rather simple, and I would assume it's mostly a constraint
                 of osmo-bts-trx?
14:03 <@LaF0rge> tnt: I would assume osmo-trx doesn't care if you set multiple soft or hard transceivers
                 for a "CCCH+BCCH+..." combination
14:04 <@LaF0rge> might actually be worth a feature request ticket
14:04 <@LaF0rge> oh actually, wait, osmo-bts-trx *should* be able to do it. That was what the
phy_link/phy_instance abstraction was introduced years ago. Not specifically for the
-trx backend, but in general to have that flexibility....
14:05 <@LaF0rge> ... but it was meant for having multiple phy links + instances aggregated into a single
BTS with many TRX. Here we'd want to use it the other way around. Interesting idea, if
                 only I had time :)
