= Welcome to OsmoSDR =
OsmoSDR is a 100% Free Software based small form-factor inexpensive
SDR (Software Defined Radio) project.
If you are familiar with existing SDR receivers, then OsmoSDR can be thought
of something in between a FunCubeDongle (only 96kHz bandwidth) and a USRP (much more expensive).
It consists of a USB-attached [wiki:Hardware], associated [wiki:Firmware]
as well as gnuradio integration on the PC.
The hardware is currently in prototype stage. As soon as it is finished, we will
make it available through http://shop.sysmocom.de/

Hardware schematics and firmware source code are kept in a git repository on git.osmocom.org.
