h1. Generate sources from ASN1 files As of writing, the process for regenerating source files in osmo-iuh.git from the asn1 files is the following: * Build the "Osmocom fork of libasn1c":https://gitea.osmocom.org/cellular-infrastructure/libasn1c like any other Osmocom library (see [[cellular-infrastructure:build from source]], [[cellular-infrastructure:Build_from_Source]], e.g. with osmo-dev) * Build the @aper-prefix@ branch of the "Osmocom fork of asn1c":https://gitea.osmocom.org/osmocom/asn1c/commits/branch/aper-prefix * Run @make regen@ in osmo-iuh.git Upstreaming the Osmocom specific patches is being discussed in #2435.
