h1. OsmoCon and OsmoDevCon h2. OsmoCon The Osmocom Develeoper Conference (OsmoCon) is a public technical conference aimed at users and operators of Osmocom based cellular networks. OsmoDevCon The Osmocom Developer Conference is an annual invitation-only event where Osmocom developers from various Osmocom projects meet. It has so far been organized by Harald Welte in Berlin from 2012 through 2016, for more information see the pages below: {{child_pages(OsmoDevCon)}} {{child_pages}} For 2017, a discussion has been started at http://lists.osmocom.org/pipermail/openbsc/2016-December/009950.html and have resulted in the decision whether to reduce keep the invitation-only OsmoDevCon from four current format or whether to three days, and introdce the new single-day OsmoCon which is open move to an event not only focussed at the general public. core developer team, but also offer one or two days oriented towards the various users of the Osmocom stack.
