Description

https://gitea.osmocom.org/acouzens/osmo-epdg

  • Move it to standard prefix in gitea
  • Make it available in gerrit

I also saw https://gitea.osmocom.org/ims-volte-vowifi/strongswan , do we need to use it? do we want to have changes there?

Assigning to lynxis for feedback. The gerrit repo probably needs to be created by laforge ?

I talked with lynxis and he agreed to move it to some public prefix and have it added to gerrit. Not sure if I can do that myself, laforge ?

I would say simply try to move it to the osmocom org in gitea via the web ui. If you see an option to do it, go ahead. If not, I am of course happy to do it. As for Gerrit, I think you definitely can create new projects there. The fitea then should be configured as pull mirror from Gerrit (gitea project settings).

The only missing part then is to create the github repo. Once it exists, Gerrit will automatically push-mirror to it. Also feel free to
try if you can create an empty osmocom/osmo-epdg there.

laforge I am trying to migrate the osmo-epdg repo in gitea. I can migrate through UI eg to cellular-infrstructure, but not to "erlang" org since I'm not a member of it. And since apparently I'm not side admin, I cannot add myself to that org.
Can you either make me admin or add me to the Erlang org?

I was finally able to do it after fixeria added me as member of erlang group.

The correct way is to first create the gerrit repo, tweak a bit the access temporarily so I could "git push origin master" and then remove the access again. Then, I actually removed the old repo and recreated it as a mirror from the gerrit one.

Assigning back to lynxis as a reminder for him to:

strongswan: We also need the strongswan repo. But I would like to clean/squash the commits before putting it online.

We already have https://gitea.osmocom.org/ims-volte-vowifi/strongswan - even thought that was meant for use on the other side of the ePDG. It might still make sense to share it? If you disagree, feel free to create (or ask to create) one in anither project/"organisation".

I'm having trouble finding the current strongswan code. It's not in https://gitea.osmocom.org/ims-volte-vowifi/strongswan nor do I find any other strongswan repos e.g. in acouzens personal space on gitea.osmocom.org.

laforge It was never clear to me where the strongswan stuff is, I'd also appreciate having it more publicly available and with documentation on how to run it.

As lynxis indicated the old/original code was in an internal/private git repo. I've now pushed that to the @lynxis/wip branch at https://gitea.osmocom.org/ims-volte-vowifi/strongswan/src/branch/lynxis/wip
