Description

Hi Harald,

laforge wrote in #1572#note-39:

The best way to do this validation would be to set up a CSD call between two MS and take a pcap file of the V.110 data in RTP CLEARMODE. I do have existing V.110 code for decoding such captures, which I validated against ISDN equipment doing V.110. So if the same tools can decode the V.110 in RTP clearmode, we can be satisfied with it.

I was able to establish a transparent data call between two Calypso-based phones (SE K200). Once the call was established (CONNECT 9600), I typed a few words in the calling terminal and a few words in the called terminal. Please find the full PCAP attached, which includes the logging, LAPDm, RSL, etc. and most importantly the RTP frames with the V.110 frames. Let me know if I missed something. Thanks!

sorry for not finding time to do this. I guess given that manawyrm has meanwhile successfully tested several CSD variants, this can be closed?

I was able to successfully decode a 9600baud RLP/NT CSD call on the ISDN side, yes.
Fax as well, so it must be pretty OK. No idea about slower baudrates, though.
