Bug #5053
closedosmo-gsm-manuals-debian8 is not updated
100%
Description
For some strange reason, https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/network:osmocom:nightly/osmo-gsm-manuals-debian8 is still at version 1.0.0.x while osmo-gsm-manuals for all other ditributions is now at 1.1.0.
I don't understand why that happens, as osmo_obs_checkout_copy() just copies the original repo (osmo-gsm-manuals) to osmo-gsm-manuals-debian8 and I don't see anything that would checkout some old version/branch. It only applies some patch (specifically debian/patches/build-for-debian8.patch) but should not affect the version number at all ?!?

pleaes don't mark as resolved until you've seen that the fix actually works.
See https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/network:osmocom:nightly/osmo-gsm-manuals-debian8 which shows that the version still is 1.1.0.1.ce12 in a build triggered 5 hours ago, i.e. long after the above-mentioned patch has been merged.

laforge: I'm confused, "1.1.0" instead of "1.0.0" was the goal, or not?
FWIW, I saw that the fix works here: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:osmith42/osmo-gsm-manuals-debian8
But I'll wait next time, until it's seen working in the official OBS.

ah, I must have missed that 1.'1'.0 part when looking at it briefly, sorry.
