h1. QCMAP Qualcomm Mobile Access Point Some complex architecture in which Qualcomm solves the seemingly simple problem of running an Access Point on a (Linux based) mobile phone? There's a separate QMI IDL service "MAP", it somehow relates to the [[Qualcomm_Kernel#IPA-Internet-Packet-Accelerator|IPA]], [[IPA]], and it is implemented - at least in parts - by a proprietary QCMAP_Daemon running on Linux.
