Description

We mainly have worked with RUS so far, not RRUS.

According to Inventory, we have a RRUS 12 at sysmocom.

It's currently unclear what kind of DC connector (or screw terminals?) the unit has. Please clarify and update the ticket, best with pictures.

DC in is a round connector with 2 gold plated pins and detailed keying.

i assume it locks with a twisting jacket or something similar.

outer diameter ~22.2mm
inner diameter ~18.4mm
pin dia ~2.5mm
pin spacing ~8.3mm
pin length ~5.5mm
socket depth ~7mm

i think it could be this type of connector https://uk.farnell.com/amphenol/62gb-12e14-02pn/plug-panel-high-power-2way/dp/3911317
the outer diameter matches - shell size 14 - y dia = 22.23mm - page 18 of http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/2158935.pdf
the orientation and pattern of the bajonet plugs on the outside and the keying on the inside as well.

the plugs are on page 39, 16E or 16F series (strain relief) in shell size 14 could be a fit.
that still needs the insert i guess, but i have not understood that yet.

this could fit, but i am still not sure about the insert stuff, and the pin orientation and diameter.

Ugh. 76 UKP for a connector, that's 30% of the price of the RRUS - and then we're not sure if it
will actually fit :/

I'll try to see if I can find the ericsson part number, maybe we can also source those 2nd hand.

interesting. Unfortunately nobody seems to have this one in stock (at least nobody
listed at octopart.com)

btw, I got that reference from vendors on aliexpress claiming to sell Radio Head power connectors ... so maybe you can just get a bunch from there for cheap.

The Ericsson part number should be "RNT 447 19/01"

Thanks, I found a lower cost supplier of the same part and ordered two samples. (USD 6 each; USD 17.90 DHL express shipping).
